One night, Lily Bunny couldn't sleep. She hopped outside and saw 4 shooting stars streak across the sky!

"One, two, three, four!" she counted, her ears wiggling with excitement.

Then — whoosh! 6 more stars came zooming past, leaving sparkly trails.

"Oh my! Oh my!" Lily gasped. She counted on from 4: "Five, six, seven, eight, nine, TEN!"

Lily had counted 10 beautiful stars in the night sky.

When the sun started to rise, the bright sunlight made stars disappear!

First, 4 stars faded away as pink dawn crept in.

Then 3 more stars twinkled out as golden sunlight filled the sky.

Deep in the forest was a tiny shop that smelled of cinnamon and honey — Grandma Owl's Cookie Bakery!

Every morning, Grandma Owl 🦉 baked a fresh batch. Today she baked 9 cookies — 5 oat and 4 chocolate chip.

Finn, Benny and Lily all rushed over. The smell was simply too good to resist!

"One at a time, dears!" said Grandma Owl with a warm smile.

Finn came first and chose 2 cookies. "Thank you, Grandma!"

Benny waddled in next — very hungry — and took 3 cookies. "These smell divine!"

Little Lily hopped up. "Just 1 cookie for me please, Grandma!"

Grandma Owl watched her tray get lighter. How many cookies remain?

As evening fell, all friends gathered around a cosy campfire 🔥 to share stories and roast marshmallows!

Benny had 6 marshmallows. He roasted 2 and ate them — yum!

Finn found 3 more marshmallows in his backpack and shared them.

Lily counted all the marshmallows left. "We have enough for everyone!" she cheered.
