๐Ÿฏ The Great Wall of China

Our first stop is China! ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ

Imagine a wall so long that if you walked along it every day, it would take you more than a year to reach the end!

The Great Wall is over 21,000 kilometres long โ€” that's like going halfway around the whole Earth! ๐ŸŒ

It was built by millions of workers over many, many years to protect China from invaders. They used stones, bricks, and even sticky rice as glue!

If you stood on the wall, you could see green mountains stretching as far as your eyes can see! ๐Ÿ”๏ธ

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Petra โ€” The Rose City

Next, we fly to Jordan! ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ด

Hidden between tall, red cliffs in the desert is a SECRET city called Petra!

People carved beautiful buildings right into the pink and red rock. That's why it's called the "Rose City"! ๐ŸŒน

Petra is over 2,000 years old. Clever people called the Nabataeans built it. They even made a system to collect rainwater in the desert!

To enter Petra, you walk through a narrow, winding path between towering cliffs. It feels like entering a magical world! โœจ

It is called Christ the Redeemer, and it is 30 metres tall โ€” that's as tall as a 10-story building! ๐Ÿข

The statue looks over the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro. From up there, you can see beaches, forests, and the sparkling ocean!

It took 9 years to build, and it's made of concrete and a special stone called soapstone.

Our next stop is Peru! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ช

Way up high in the Andes mountains, hidden by clouds and mist, is an ancient city called Machu Picchu!

It was built by the amazing Inca people over 500 years ago. They built it so high up that clouds float right through the buildings! โ˜๏ธ

The most incredible thing? The stones fit together perfectly โ€” without any glue or cement! It's like the world's most amazing jigsaw puzzle! ๐Ÿงฉ

Machu Picchu was hidden from the world for hundreds of years until an explorer found it in 1911!

In the jungles of Mexico stands a magnificent pyramid called El Castillo โ€” that means "The Castle" in Spanish! ๐Ÿฐ

It was built by the clever Maya people over 1,000 years ago. The pyramid has exactly 365 steps โ€” one for each day of the year! ๐Ÿ“…

And here's the magical part: Every spring and autumn, the sunlight creates a shadow that looks like a giant snake sliding down the pyramid! ๐Ÿ

If you clap your hands near the pyramid, the echo sounds like a bird singing! How cool is that? ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฆ

Imagine a stadium that could hold 50,000 people โ€” that's a LOT of cheering fans! ๐Ÿ“ฃ

Almost 2,000 years ago, people came here to watch gladiators compete. The Colosseum even had a special floor that could be flooded with water for pretend sea battles! ๐ŸŒŠโš”๏ธ

The Taj Mahal is the most beautiful building many people have ever seen! It's made of sparkling white marble and shines like a jewel! ๐Ÿ’Ž

A king called Shah Jahan built it because he loved his wife Mumtaz Mahal SO much. When she passed away, he wanted to build the most beautiful place in the world for her. ๐Ÿ’•

It took 22 years and over 20,000 workers to build! The walls are decorated with precious gems and beautiful flower patterns.

The coolest thing? The Taj Mahal changes colour during the day โ€” it looks pink at sunrise, white during the day, and golden at sunset! ๐ŸŒ…

๐Ÿ•Œ More About the Taj Mahal!

The Taj Mahal sits on the banks of the Yamuna River in a city called Agra.

Around the Taj Mahal there are four tall towers called minarets. They lean slightly outward โ€” on purpose! If they ever fell, they would fall AWAY from the Taj Mahal to protect it! ๐Ÿ—๏ธ

The gardens in front have beautiful fountains and the Taj Mahal reflects perfectly in the water. It looks like there are TWO Taj Mahals! ๐Ÿชž

About 8 million visitors come to see it every year. That's like the whole population of a big city!
