Chapter 1 — The Picky Princess
Mia only wanted one thing: golden, crispy chips.

Once upon a time, in a cosy little town surrounded by farms and fruit trees, lived a girl named Mia.

Mia had curly red hair, bright green eyes, and one very big problem — she only ever wanted to eat one thing: golden, crispy chips.

Every morning, she crossed her arms at breakfast. "No eggs. No porridge. Just chips, please."

At lunchtime and dinnertime it was the same: chips, chips, chips. Her mum sighed. Her dad smiled gently. But nobody could change her mind.

Big idea
Our bodies need different foods, not just one favourite food every day.

Chapter 2 — The Magical Garden Door
A glowing little door led to the Rainbow Kitchen.

One sunny Saturday, Mia was playing in the backyard when she noticed a tiny wooden door at the bottom of the old oak tree.

It glowed with soft, warm light. Curious, she knelt down and opened it — and whoosh! She was swept inside.

She landed in the most wonderful kitchen she had ever seen. Honeydew-melon walls. Orange-zest sparkle. Dancing carrots. Singing strawberries.

A sign above the door read: "Welcome to the Rainbow Kitchen — where every colour makes you stronger."

Captain Crunch bowed and said, \"Different colours, different superpowers!\"

Chapter 3 — What Each Colour Does
Captain Crunch introduced each food superpower.

A cheerful little carrot named Captain Crunch waddled up and bowed. "Hello, Mia! We've been waiting for you."

Ruby the Tomato danced. "I keep your heart strong and happy!"

Benny the Broccoli flexed. "I make your bones tough like a superhero shield!"

Sunny the Corn glowed. "I give you energy to run and jump!" Bella the Blueberry tapped her head. "I help your brain remember!" Otto the Orange spun. "I keep sniffles away!"

Mia stared in wonder. She had never imagined food could be so alive.

Chapter 4 — The Wilting Garden
The kitchen lost colour when Mia saw her one-colour habit.

Suddenly, the Rainbow Kitchen began to flicker. Colours faded. Songs stopped. Captain Crunch looked worried.

He led Mia to a mirror. She saw herself tired and pale, sitting with only chips, no sparkle in her eyes, no energy to play, and a runny nose.

"When you only eat one colour," Captain Crunch said softly, "your body only gets one kind of help."

"It's like painting a rainbow with one crayon. It cannot shine."

Important lesson
Balanced eating means giving your body many kinds of support.

Why The Magic Faded

1
Only one food colour was chosen.
2
Mia missed other food superpowers.
3
Energy and sparkle became low.

Chapter 5 — Mia's Rainbow Plate
Mia tried a colourful plate and the magic returned.

Mia took a deep breath. "Can I try?" she asked.

Captain Crunch smiled the biggest carrot smile she'd ever seen.

One by one, Ruby, Benny, Sunny, Bella, and Otto stepped onto a magical golden plate.

Captain Crunch winked and added a small portion of chips too: "A treat now and then is perfectly fine."

Mia tasted her first rainbow bite, and the kitchen burst back to life — brighter than ever.

Chapter 6 — The New Mia
"I'm painting my rainbow," Mia said at dinner.

Whoosh — Mia was back in her backyard under the oak tree. The little door was gone.

But in her hands was a card: "Eat the rainbow every day, and we'll always be with you."

That evening she looked at her plate differently: peas, sliced tomatoes, sweetcorn, blueberries for dessert, and a few chips on the side.

"Mia, you're eating your vegetables!" her mum said, eyes wide.

Mia smiled brightly. "I'm painting my rainbow."

From then on, Mia grew strong, sharp, full of energy, and almost never sneezed.
