Big idea: when we multiply by 7, we count in 7s.
So if we see 7 × 4, we think: “7, 14, 21, 28.” The answer is 28.
Read each row slowly. Point with your finger if that helps. We want your eyes, ears, and brain to work together.
Read each line: 7 times something equals a bigger count in 7s.

After the answer appears, read the whole sentence aloud:
7 times one equals 7.
Start with 7 × 1 and go all the way to 7 × 12.
